The transition period from middle school to high school is a very big milestone in teens. You are introduced to peer pressure and it also tests how strong you are to yourself. Young teens are brought into situations including different substances which shape who they turn out to be. In the book “The Battle for Innocence” by Stacy Padula, you will read about the many challenges teens today face.

In book 4, you get a closer look into the relationship between Chantal and Andy while discussing important situations many teens go through. The book demonstrates the importance of having faith, morals, and staying true to yourself. This book shows the young teens being introduced to their first parties and making important choices. I would recommend this book to any young teen entering high school because of the important subjects that were touched on.
