“Gripped” Relationships: Missy Kent & Luke Davids

We continue our character relationship series with Missy Kent and Luke Davids. Luke becomes acquainted with Missy by hanging out with his older brother Matt’s grade in high school. Missy’s childlike enthusiasm for life and outgoing nature make her someone a lot of guys find attractive, and her free-spirited approach makes her quite hard to get. However, Luke’s easy going and non-judgmental personality draws Missy to him. (Luke is also widely considered “the best looking guy” at MLH, so there was no lack of attraction there either.)

Missy knows how to liven up every situation, and her “life of the party” persona is something Luke struggles to keep up with. He often finds himself playing babysitter to her at social gatherings. To impress Missy, he pushes himself to become more like her, but this causes him to lose touch with himself and ultimately burn out. These two really need to have an honest conversation so they can both accept who Luke really is. This shall play out as the Gripped series continues!
