Meet Sarah Parrish

Sarah is a senior at Dover-Sherborn High School where she is captain of the Alpine Ski Team and the Track and Field Team. She is also a member of her school’s Peer Helping Club and Community Service club. Throughout the summer, Sarah works as a counselor at a local summer camp and also as a server at the Chatham Filling station. With a passion for leadership and athletics, she enjoys ski instructing at Burke Mountain and coaching field hockey for Dover-Sherborn Youth Field Hockey. She also enjoys her participation in the Senior High Youth Group at Pilgrim Church where she volunteers around her community. In her freetime, she enjoys boating, skiing, running and traveling. 


Gripped Part 5: Taylor’s Story by Stacy Padula is the most recent and action-packed story in the series. It tells “Taylor’s Story” including his involvement with selling drugs. The readers see the people that involved Taylor in the first place and how difficult it is for him to escape. Furthermore, the readers learn more about various relationships in the story such as Pat and Laurelle, Luke and Missy, and Cathy and Marc. While many of the Montgomery Lake High School students are at a club in the Seaport simultaneously with Taylor, the story takes a serious turn. 

While Taylor is trying to sell his last batch of drugs before returning to his family for Easter, the police get in his way of him ever getting home. Taylor’s family fears that they may never see him again. Meanwhile, Missy goes missing and hasn’t responded to anyone’s texts or calls in hours. The story leaves us to wonder what will happen with Taylor, his family, and the police in the future and what will become of the students and the drug problems at Montgomery Lake High!! Stay tuned.
