Grace Gerety Reviews “Gripped #4: Smoke & Mirrors”

By Grace Gerety—Duxbury, Massachusetts

Gripped Part 4: Smoke and Mirrors by Stacy Padula is an essential part in the Gripped series. The book allows the reader to see the major character developments each individual charter is making. The book also allows the reader to feel with the characters. Monumental shits in each character’s ways of thinking and actions are displayed in this book that fit into the series perfectly.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with addiction themselves or has loved ones who have. And more specifically teens or parents to teens. The teens will be able to see different aspects of each character that they can relate to and hopefully be able to learn from. For parents of teens the book will allow them to be able to see the reality of their teens in the drug and alcohol world.
